Day 74 - Exploring Alaska in the Winter

We have been trying to keep the boys busy, and explore at the same time. So far we have been successful!

Kenny's victory dance bowling. He used a "hill" for the first time!

A little small just yet, but we gotta get him ready for all the biking this summer!

This indoor soccer place is RIGHT next to our house.

I love how our son thinks yogurt is a dessert.

Auntie Erin, Uncle Nick and cousins Ava and Trevor got Kenny and Cameron a year's pass at the museum. It's a great place to burn off energy! Thanks guys!

Who knew, all we needed is a fish tank to keep Cameron busy.

Kenny's favorite toy at the museum - the magnets.

Jason is mastering dough... this time, via pretzyls.

They were delish!

Lego guns...

Silly kids.

This little guy has started walking EVERYWHERE now. It took him a while to get the confidence, but once he got it, he has been walking nonstop.

PJ snuggle time

Friday night pizza night to a whole new level - homemade pizza dough. Yum yum!

Kenny sized pizza

Got ourselves snowshoes. The first hike went well. Kenny pulled the " I HAVE to pee and poop!" move, so we had to head back sooner than desired.

Cameron had a great time - he fell asleep! I guess that's what you get when he is all bundled and snuggly.

Thanks to Groupon, we found a "Pump it Up". The boys got to rule the roost for a while.

Our big monkey

So this was the weather outside, when I (Aimee) decided it would be fun to go on a hike with friends! I am working on my BMW points. (Burly Mountain Woman)

We walked across this frozen waterfall
Brenda and I holding up the tree!

That's Jill under all that fur!

The view at the top was well worth the hike! Hello Anchorage!

It was a little chilly... notice the frozen hair!

Breathtaking!

The hiking gang - Jill, Aimee, Doan, Nick, Joe and Brenda (taking the pic)

Pretty much everyone looked like this at the end... completely frozen! It looks like Jill has grey hair!

Haha, restricted area....

We have been practicing cross country skiing. A couple days ago I went with  friend along the coastal trail - this was the view. This picture does not do it ANY justice.... so beautiful!
